Where has the summer gone? I can't believe it's late July and we're talking about "back to school." Well, here are my cards from my July SAS. These two stamp sets are two of my faves from the new catalog -- Because I Care and Friends Never Fade.

I found the first card above on the blog of one of my favorite stampers -- Diana Gibb. She is fabulous, funny, talented and was just inducted into the Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle at the SU convention in Utah. Congrats, Diana!

Okay, I told you I love this stamp set -- so here is another card using the beautiful hydrangea! I totally CASEd this card here. It was just too beautiful to change -- don't you think. I'm not sure it shows up in the picture but I stamped off the hydrangea in crumb cake ink on the crumb cake card. I lightly colored the flower using the blender pen with the Marina Mist ink and then took the Marina Mist marker (don't you just love that we now have markers in every color!) to darken the centers. Some of my SAS ladies used the white gel pen for the centers of the little blossoms to really make it POP!

Supplies: Because I Care stamp set; Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Stazon Ink; Marina Mist marker; Whisper White,Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Old Olive CS; Blender Pen, Metallic Brads, Ticket Corner Punch and Stampin' Dimensionals.

There are so many beautiful samples in the new Idea Book & Catalog that I thought I would highlight one each month at my classes. This one is on page 70 of the IB&C. I used a different stamp set and changed the paper but I wanted to demonstrate that you take the idea and make it your own. Everyone loved the card.

Supplies: Season of Friendship & Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets; Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz , Early Espresso and Stazon ink and/or markers; Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz CS; Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Blender Pen, Scallop Border Punch and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Okay, now my next favorite stamp set and Designer Series Paper -- Friends Never Fade and Greenhouse Garden DSP. They were just made for each other!! I also LOVE Pear Pizzazz. For those of you who know me you know I LOVE GREEN but especially Lime Green. I was hoping for Kiwi Kiss to come back but I think I found a new love - Pear Pizzazz. I was inspired here for this card.

Supplies: Friends Never Fad & Sincere Salutations stamp sets; Pear Pizzazz ,Pumpkin Pie, Real Red markers and/or ink; Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red CS and Greenhouse Garden DSP; Real Red and Pumpkin Pie gross grain Ribbon; Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Lastly, the card that everyone LOVED. The flower was stamped, cut out, dazzling diamonds applied to the center and layered on top of the "Friends are Flowers that Never Fade" piece using dimensionals . Once my order came in I changed the Very Vanilla gross grain ribbon (in photo) to the new Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. I CASEd the card here. I just love Marie's blog. Check her out.

Supplies: Friends Never Fad stamp set; Pumpkin Pie Ink/Marker and Daffodil Delight Marker; Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie CS and Greenhouse Garden DSP; Very Vanilla gross grain Ribbon OR Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon; Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder; Scallop Trim Border Punch; Dazzling Diamonds; 2-Way Glue Pen and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Well, that's my July cards. I loved them all and had two great classes this month. All my ladies have been enjoying the new catalog and the orders are coming in. What would I do without such wonderful "stamping" friends/customers. Thanks for stopping in and come back soon.

Linda
